In Memory of Carol Baer...
I will miss her phone calls
I will miss her laughter as it still echos in my mind
We laughed and played like children,
We misbehaved like mischeivous teenagers
We cried and grieved like adults
Always supportive,
Encouraging,
Full of compliments
Wanting to know my next steps
Celebrating my little wins
While her health was declining rapidly.

What a beautiful tribute to such a wonderful spirit--the force that was Carol. I had no idea she passed away. She was SO brave!
